The Brown Bag Workshops is part of a yearlong initiative created to help professionals learn new skills and gain competencies to level up their careers.

Synopsis:
People respond to events based on their internal pictures, sounds, and feelings. They also collect these personal experiences into groups or categories that are labelled with words. Therefore, learning how to ask the right questions to achieve the desired response can promote better understanding in the workplace.

Session Objective:
This session will guide participants help themselves and their colleagues move along their ladders of inference, and to ask the right questions that can help them have more choice and flexibility in responding appropriately to work situations.

Session Application:
In Job Professionals: Learning to ask the right questions of your colleagues can help you obtain high quality information to better enhance job productivity.
Unemployed: Learning how to ask the right questions in the interview to gather useful information, so that you can provide more useful responses.
