Some employees invest so much in their careers while trying to meet the needs of their families, that they feel disappointed when the outcomes do not match their expectations. As a result of their inability to manage work and personal stressors, some people experience mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. This talk will provide participants with an overview of mental health issues, and to reflect on how their current coping mechanisms. Speakers will also share the role of mental health professionals like counselling psychologists and counsellors in helping those with mental health conditions to choose more effective behaviours to manage their stress.
