The Brown Bag Workshops from Oct to Dec 2020 is part of a 10-part series created in collaboration with the 6 x Local Universities (NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD, SIT & SUSS) & 1 x Institute of Higher Learning (NP) and the main focus is to examine how Digitalisation will impact the Future of Work and how COVID has accelerated some of these changes.

How can companies and entrepreneurs create breakthrough innovations that are 3 to 5 years ahead of the competition? In this short session, we will cover one systematic source of breakthrough innovations that are 3 to 5 years ahead of the competition: Lead User Innovation. We will work on an exercise to understand lead user innovation and discuss how to use lead users to generate breakthrough innovation. We will review a local case of lead user innovation that was successfully commercialized.
