The Brown Bag Workshops from Oct to Dec 2020 is part of a 10-part series created in collaboration with the 6 x Local Universities (NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD, SIT & SUSS) & 1 x Institute of Higher Learning (NP) and the main focus is to examine how Digitalisation will impact the Future of Work and how COVID has accelerated some of these changes.

In this Brown Bag session (9 Dec), HeadHunt held the next lunch & learn talk with our speaker, Yeaz Jaddoo, who spoke on the topic of Data Breaches and its Increasing Pervasiveness.

Synopsis:
Everyday we hear about stolen and hacked data, aka data breaches. They result in compromise of personal and financial records and have devastating, long-lasting consequences. There’s no indication of their slowing down as attacks rise in complexity and sophistication. In this talk we look at recent breaches to understand more.
